Fornavigator(이하 ‘앱’)는 항해 계산을 기기 안에서 하는 앱입니다. 회원 가입이 없고, 개발자는 사용자의 계산값·선박 제원·기록·위치를 서버에 모으지 않습니다. 이 방침은 웹 브라우저, 홈 화면 앱(PWA), 앱 스토어 버전에 똑같이 적용됩니다. English version
1. 처리하는 개인정보와 목적
앱에서 운영자에게 직접 보내는 정보는 문의 · 버그 신고 폼의 아래 항목입니다. 웹 호스팅·외부 글꼴 요청에 수반되는 접속 정보는 별도로 6항에 설명합니다.
- 수집 항목: 이메일(선택), 직접 적은 문의 유형과 내용
- 자동 수집 항목: 문의를 보낸 접속 페이지 주소, 브라우저·기기 정보(User-Agent). 앱이 문의 저장용으로 보내는 항목에는 IP 주소가 포함되지 않습니다. 이는 Google·Cloudflare 등 외부 서비스가 통신 과정에서 IP 주소를 처리하지 않는다는 뜻은 아닙니다.
- 목적: 문의 답변 및 서비스 개선
- 보유 기간: 답변 완료 후 1년이 지나면 지체 없이 삭제합니다. 이메일이 없어 답장하지 않는 문의는 확인·처리를 마친 때부터 1년입니다.
이메일은 답장을 원할 때만 남기며, 남길 때는 수집·이용 동의(수집 항목 이메일, 목적 문의 답변, 보유기간 답변 완료 후 1년)에 체크해야 합니다. 동의하지 않아도 이메일 없이 문의를 보낼 수 있고, 이때는 답장을 드릴 수 없습니다. 문의 폼을 쓰지 않아도 계산과 저장 기능은 모두 그대로 쓸 수 있습니다.
이메일 문의: hello@fornavigator.com로 직접 보낼 수도 있습니다. 이때는 보낸 이메일 주소·이름과 내용(첨부 포함)을 문의 답변과 서비스 개선에만 쓰고, 위와 같은 기간이 지나면 삭제합니다. 처리 위탁과 국외 이전은 5항에 적었습니다.
2. 기기 안에만 저장하는 정보
다음 정보는 앱 기능을 위해 웹에서는 이 기기의 브라우저 저장소(localStorage, sessionStorage), iOS·Android 앱에서는 앱 전용 저장소(Preferences 및 WebView)에 둡니다. 개발자에게 전송되지 않고 개발자는 볼 수 없습니다.
- 선박 제원(내 배), 기록장(정오 보고의 위치·시각, 자이로 오차, 자차 실측), 항해계획(변침점 위치·출항 시각)
- 마지막 계산 입력값과 위치(도구와 배별로 기억, 설정에서 끄면 삭제, 날짜·시각·잰 방위·비밀번호는 기억하지 않음)
- 즐겨찾기, 목록 접기, 화면 설정(테마·야간 적색·화면 켜짐 유지·로고 색과 모양), 선택한 언어, Pro 구매 여부(스토어에 확인한 결과)
- 문의 폼에 쓰던 내용(그 탭을 닫으면 지워짐), 같은 문의를 두 번 보내지 않도록 마지막으로 보낸 시각과 내용의 짧은 확인값(원문 아님)
웹은 오프라인으로 쓰기 위해 앱 화면 파일과 글꼴도 기기 캐시에 저장합니다. iOS·Android 앱에는 화면·계산·번역 파일이 포함되며 기기 기본 글꼴을 씁니다. 이것은 개인정보가 아닙니다. 저장된 정보는 앱 안의 지우기 기능, 브라우저의 사이트 데이터 삭제, 앱 삭제로 언제든 지울 수 있습니다.
3. 현재 위치
"현재 위치" 버튼을 누를 때만 기기의 위치(GPS)를 한 번 읽어 입력칸에 넣습니다. 위치는 기기 밖으로 보내지 않으며 개발자가 수집하거나 저장하지 않습니다. 마지막 입력값 기억이 켜져 있으면 그 위치는 이 기기에 남고, 정오 보고를 기록장에 저장하면 기록장에도 남습니다. 위치 권한은 기기와 브라우저 설정에서 언제든 끌 수 있고, 꺼도 위치를 직접 입력해 계속 쓸 수 있습니다.
4. 공유 링크와 백업 파일
배 공유 링크·코드, 백업 파일, 기록장 CSV는 사용자가 직접 만들어 보내거나 내려받을 때만 기기 밖으로 나갑니다. 받는 사람과 전달 방법(메신저, 이메일 등)은 사용자가 정합니다. 공유 링크의 제원은 주소의 # 뒤에 들어 있어 사이트 서버로 전송되지 않습니다. 비밀번호를 걸면 기기 안에서 AES-256으로 암호화됩니다. 백업과 CSV에는 정오 보고 위치가 들어 있으니 보안 위험 해역에서는 비밀번호를 걸고 함부로 공유하지 마세요.
앱의 백업 JSON과 기록장 CSV는 앱 전용 임시 캐시에 만든 뒤 기기의 공유 창으로 내보냅니다. Android의 별도 ‘백업 파일 저장’은 시스템 파일 선택 창에서 사용자가 고른 위치에 JSON을 직접 씁니다. 앱은 광범위한 저장소 권한을 요청하지 않으며, 선택을 취소하면 저장하지 않습니다. 다른 앱에 전달하기 전까지 개발자 서버에는 전송하지 않습니다. 임시 내보내기 파일은 다음 앱 시작 때 지웁니다. 가져오기는 사용자가 파일 선택 창에서 고른 파일만 읽으며, 취소해도 기존 데이터는 지우지 않습니다. 복사는 사용자가 누를 때만 클립보드에 씁니다. 앱 삭제·기기 변경 전 백업을 따로 보관하세요. 기기 운영체제의 백업 설정에 따라 앱 데이터가 OS 백업에 포함될 수 있으며, 개발자가 제공하는 동기화는 없습니다.
일반 백업에는 복원을 위해 선명·IMO와 기록의 선박 이름을 포함합니다. ‘선명·IMO 가리고 내보내기’를 켜면 기기 안에서 내보낼 복사본의 식별 문구만 Ship 1 같은 이름으로 바꿉니다. 기기에 저장된 원본은 바꾸지 않으며 위치·제원·레코드 식별자는 남습니다. 이 파일만으로 원래 선명·IMO를 복원할 수 없으므로 완전한 익명 자료나 원본 백업으로 취급하지 마세요.
5. 개인정보 처리 위탁과 국외 이전 (문의)
문의 폼으로 보낸 정보는 Google Apps Script로 접수되어 운영자의 Google 스프레드시트에 저장됩니다.

- 이전 국가: 각 회사가 운영하는 서버 소재 국가(6항의 Cloudflare 안내와 위 Google 안내를 따릅니다)
- 시기와 방법: 이용자가 이메일을 보낼 때 인터넷으로 전송

6. 웹 접속 정보, 처리 위탁 및 국외 이전
기기 안의 계산값·선박 정보·기록·위치(2~4항)와 웹 요청의 접속 정보는 다릅니다. 이 앱은 계산 데이터를 호스팅 서버에 업로드하지 않지만 웹페이지와 파일을 받는 통신에는 접속 정보가 수반됩니다.
Cloudflare (웹 호스팅·전송·보안)
- 수탁자·이전받는 자와 연락처: Cloudflare, Inc., 개인정보 문의 privacyquestions@cloudflare.com. 웹 버전은 Cloudflare Workers의 정적 자산으로 제공됩니다.
- 처리 항목·목적: IP 주소, 요청·접속 시각, 브라우저·기기 및 트래픽 라우팅 정보 등 웹 요청에 수반되는 정보를 콘텐츠 전송, 서비스 운영 및 보안에 처리할 수 있습니다.
- 시기와 방법: 웹 접속 및 파일 요청 시 네트워크(HTTPS) 통신으로 처리됩니다. 별도로 문의를 보내지 않아도 발생할 수 있습니다.
- 처리 국가: Cloudflare는 미국·유럽경제지역을 중심으로 보관하며 다른 국가에서도 처리·접근할 수 있다고 고지합니다. 회사 소재지가 미국이라는 이유로 이 사이트의 처리 국가가 미국에 한정되지는 않습니다.
- 보유 기준: Cloudflare의 공식 방침은 처리 목적과 법적 의무에 필요한 기간을 기준으로 합니다. 적용 상품·로그 종류·계약·지역 설정에 따라 달라지며, 문의 기록의 ‘1년’을 접속 로그에 적용하지 않습니다. DPA는 서비스 종료 등에 따른 고객 지시의 삭제·반환과 법령상 예외를 규정합니다.
- 거부 방법과 효과: 웹 접속을 중단하면 이후의 웹 요청을 피할 수 있습니다. 이미 준비된 웹 오프라인 기능이나 설치된 앱의 기기 내 계산은 네트워크 없이 쓸 수 있습니다. 웹의 최초 접속·다운로드·업데이트에는 연결이 필요하며, 문의·외부 링크는 별도의 통신입니다.
Cloudflare의 개인정보처리방침, 데이터 처리 부속계약(DPA) 및 재수탁자 안내에서 공급자의 처리 범위와 계약상 조건을 확인할 수 있습니다. 공급자의 일반 고지가 이 사이트의 개별 로그·국가·계약 설정을 확정하는 것은 아닙니다.
글꼴 및 스토어
화면 글꼴은 웹과 앱 안에 함께 들어 있어, 글꼴을 받으려고 다른 사이트에 접속하지 않습니다. 설치·스토어 거래 정보는 Apple·Google의 방침에 따라 각 스토어가 처리합니다. 앱 안의 Pro 구매와 응원(인앱 결제)은 App Store·Google Play가 결제를 처리하며, 개발자는 카드 번호 등 결제 정보를 받지 않습니다. 앱은 Pro를 샀는지만 기기의 스토어에 확인해 이 기기에 저장하고, 구매 기록을 개발자 서버로 보내지 않습니다.
국외 이전에는 관련 법령의 요건이 적용됩니다. 이 방침의 공개나 공급자의 DPA·인증만으로 모든 국외 이전이 자동으로 적법해지는 것은 아닙니다.
7. 쿠키 등 자동 수집 장치
앱 코드 자체는 쿠키를 설정하지 않고 광고·이용 분석·추적 SDK를 포함하지 않습니다. 개인정보를 판매하거나 맞춤형 광고에 쓰지 않습니다. 기능을 위한 브라우저 저장소(2항)는 쿠키와 별개이며 브라우저에서 차단할 수 있지만, 이 경우 내 배와 기록장 등 입력 정보가 저장되지 않습니다.
이와 별개로 Cloudflare는 사용 중인 보안·트래픽 관리 기능에 따라 쿠키를 설정할 수 있습니다. 이 사이트에서 특정 보안 쿠키가 항상 사용된다는 뜻은 아닙니다. Cloudflare 쿠키 안내를 참고하세요. 브라우저 설정에서 쿠키를 차단·삭제할 수 있으나 보안 확인이나 사이트 접속이 정상 동작하지 않을 수 있습니다.
8. 개인정보의 파기
Google 스프레드시트에 저장된 문의 기록과 답장 메일은 답변 완료 후 1년이 지나면 지체 없이 복구할 수 없는 방법으로 삭제합니다. 기기 안의 정보는 사용자가 직접 지웁니다(2항).
9. 이용자의 권리와 행사 방법
- 문의로 보낸 개인정보에 대해 언제든 열람, 정정, 삭제, 처리 정지를 요구할 수 있습니다. 아래 연락처로 요청하면 지체 없이(10일 안에) 처리하고 결과를 알려 드립니다. 법정대리인이나 위임받은 사람을 통해서도 요청할 수 있습니다.
- 기기 안에 저장된 정보는 사용자가 앱에서 직접 보고, 고치고, 지울 수 있습니다.
- 만 14세 미만 아동은 보호자의 동의 없이 문의 폼을 쓰지 마세요. 동의 없이 받은 사실을 알게 되면 바로 삭제합니다.
10. 안전성 확보 조치
계산값·선박 정보·기록·위치는 기기 안에서 처리합니다. 문의 전송과 웹 외부 글꼴 요청에는 HTTPS 주소를 사용합니다. 공유 링크와 백업에는 기기 안 비밀번호 암호화(AES-256)를 고를 수 있습니다. 문의·접속 정보의 외부 서비스 처리는 5~6항과 구분해서 보아야 합니다.

이 방침의 수정 내용을 이 페이지에 게시합니다. 수정본은 해당 웹 배포 또는 앱 업데이트를 통해 제공됩니다. 한국어판과 영어판의 내용이 다르면 한국어판을 따릅니다.

Privacy Policy (English)
Fornavigator (“the app”) does its navigation calculations on your device. There are no accounts, and the developer does not collect your calculations, ship particulars, logbook or location on any server. This policy applies to the website, the home-screen app (PWA) and the app store versions.
1. Who we are
The operator and data controller for Fornavigator is LOTUS NAV (person responsible for privacy: LEE HYEONCHANG). Contact: the in-app contact form or hello@fornavigator.com.
2. Personal data we receive
The app sends the following data directly to the operator through the Contact and bug report form. Website connection information is described separately in section 6:
- Data you enter: your email address (optional), and the message type and text.
- Collected automatically with the form: the address of the page you sent it from and browser/device information (user agent). The app does not include your IP address in the fields sent for contact-message storage. This does not mean that Google, Cloudflare or other external services never process IP addresses during communication.
- Purpose: to answer your message and improve the service.
- Legal basis for the optional email: the consent given through the contact form. International transfers are subject to applicable legal requirements; this notice does not establish a transfer basis by itself.
- Retention: deleted one year after we reply. Messages without an email are deleted one year after we have handled them.
Using the form is voluntary. An email address is optional; to leave one you tick the consent box (data: email, purpose: replying to you, retention: 1 year after we reply). Without it we cannot reply. Everything else in the app works without the form.
Email: you can also write to hello@fornavigator.com. We use your email address, name and message (including attachments) only to reply and improve the service, and delete them on the same schedule as above. Providers and transfers are described in section 6.
3. Data kept only on your device
Ship particulars, the logbook (noon positions and times, gyro errors, measured deviations), passage plans (waypoint positions, departure time), favourites, display settings (including the logo colour and shape), language selection, whether Pro was purchased (as reported by the store), a contact-form draft (cleared when the tab closes) and a short check value of your last message (not the text) are stored in browser storage on the web and in app-private Preferences and WebView storage on iOS/Android. They are never sent to us. Web app files and fonts are cached for offline use. Native apps bundle the calculations, screens and translations and use system fonts. You can delete all of it in the app, by clearing the site data in your browser, or by uninstalling the app.
4. Location
Only when you tap “Current position” does the app read your device location once and fill it into the form. The position stays on your device and is not collected by us. With input memory enabled, the last position and calculation inputs are kept separately for each tool and ship. Dates, times, observed compass bearings and passwords are not remembered. Turning input memory off deletes these saved inputs. Input memory is not included in backups. You can turn off location permission at any time and type positions by hand.
5. Share links and backups
Ship links, codes, backup files and logbook CSV files leave your device only when you create and send them yourself. Ship data in a link sits after the # and is not sent to the web server. You can lock links and backups with a password (AES-256, on the device). Backups and CSV files contain noon positions; share them with care.
Native apps write exported JSON/CSV files to a private temporary cache and open the device share sheet. On Android, the separate Save backup file action writes JSON directly to the document location you choose in the system picker, without broad storage permission. Cancelling the picker writes nothing. The developer receives no files. Temporary exports are removed on the next cold start. Import reads only the file you select; cancellation leaves existing data intact. Copy writes to the clipboard only when you tap it. Keep a backup before uninstalling or changing devices. App data may be included in operating-system backups depending on device settings; the developer provides no sync service.
Full backups include ship names, IMO numbers and logbook ship labels for restoration. Hide ship names and IMO numbers replaces those fields with labels such as Ship 1 in an exported copy on your device. Original local data stays unchanged; positions, particulars and record IDs remain. The original names and IMO numbers cannot be recovered from that copy, so it is not a fully anonymous dataset or a substitute for a full backup.
6. Service providers, entrustment and International transfers
On-device calculations, ship information, logs and positions (sections 3–5) are separate from website connection information. The app does not upload calculation data to the hosting server, but requesting web pages and files involves connection information.
Google contact inbox
Google LLC stores and manages contact messages through Google Sheets and Apps Script. The message type and text, optional email, page address and user agent are sent over HTTPS when you submit the form. They follow the one-year retention policy in section 2. Google describes processing on servers in multiple countries; see its privacy policy and contact details. Not submitting the form avoids this contact-data transfer; calculations and local storage still work, but no reply can be sent.
Email inbox
Mail sent to our domain address is forwarded by Cloudflare, Inc. (Email Routing; Cloudflare states that it does not store or access message content while forwarding; privacy contact privacyquestions@cloudflare.com) to the operator's Gmail, where Google LLC stores it and we reply. Your email address, name, subject, message, attachments and mail headers are transferred over the internet when you send the email, may be processed on servers in the countries each provider uses, and follow the retention in section 2. Not emailing us avoids this transfer; the in-app form is an alternative.
Cloudflare website hosting, delivery and security
- Processor/recipient and contact: Cloudflare, Inc., privacyquestions@cloudflare.com. The web version is served as Cloudflare Workers static assets.
- Data and purpose: connection information such as IP address, request time, browser/device and traffic-routing information may be processed for content delivery, operation and security.
- Timing and method: network communication over HTTPS when you access the website or request files, even without submitting a contact message.
- Processing countries: Cloudflare describes storage primarily in the United States and the European Economic Area, with processing/access possible in other countries. Its US headquarters does not mean this site's data is processed only in the USA.
- Retention criteria: Cloudflare's policy uses the processing purpose and legal obligations as criteria. Product, log type, contract and regional settings matter; the contact inbox's one-year period does not apply to connection logs. The DPA provides for customer-directed deletion/return on service termination, subject to legal exceptions.
- Refusal and effect: stop accessing the website to avoid subsequent web requests. Already prepared web offline features or installed apps support on-device calculations without a network. First web access, downloads and updates require a connection; contact submissions and external links involve separate communication.
See Cloudflare's privacy policy, Data Processing Addendum (DPA) and sub-processor information for provider scope and contractual terms. General provider disclosures do not establish this site's individual log, country or contract settings.
Fonts and app stores
The display fonts are bundled with the website and the apps, so no other site is contacted to load fonts. Apple and Google handle installation and store-transaction information under their own policies. In-app purchases of Pro and tips are processed by the App Store or Google Play; the developer never receives card or other payment details. The app only asks the device's store whether Pro was bought, keeps that answer on the device, and does not send purchase records to any developer server.
International transfers must meet applicable legal requirements. Publishing this notice or relying on a provider's DPA or certification does not automatically make every transfer lawful.
7. Cookies and tracking
The app code itself sets no cookies and includes no advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. Functional browser storage (section 3) is separate from cookies; blocking it prevents saving ship information, logs and other inputs.
Separately, Cloudflare may set cookies depending on the security and traffic-management features in use. This is not a statement that any particular security cookie is always active on this site. See the Cloudflare cookie documentation. You can block/delete cookies in your browser, but security checks or site access may fail.
8. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete the data you sent us, to restrict or object to its use, or to receive it in a portable form; you can withdraw your consent at any time. Contact us as above; we reply within 10 days and in any case within one month. You can also lodge a complaint with the data protection authority (supervisory authority) where you live (in Korea: privacy.kisa.or.kr, phone 118).
9. Children
The app is not aimed at children. Children under 14 (or the higher age set in your country) should not use the contact form without a parent's consent; if we learn we received such data, we delete it.
10. Security
Calculations, ship information, logs and positions are processed on the device. Contact submissions and external web font requests use HTTPS URLs. Share links and backups offer optional on-device password encryption (AES-256). External processing of contact and connection information is described separately in section 6. Contact records and replies are deleted one year after handling/reply, as in section 2; users delete their local data themselves.
11. Changes
We post revisions on this page. Revised text is delivered through the corresponding website deployment or app update. If the Korean and English versions differ, the Korean version applies.
